Note : antenna's on access points in general are of low dBi so if you are using this extension cable with your old access point antenna you may experience a weaker signal/poorer performance.

Example- if you have a 2dbi antenna and use this extension cable you will lose 1.2dBi through the physics of the cable and so might actually experience a performance drop.
